Can you believe how many points are being scored not only by 2 teams, but by only one team? baylor just a few days ago hung 67 points on Washington. Wednesday 01/04/2012 West Virginia slaughters Clemson 70 to 33. West Virginia scored 49 points in the first half, and had a bad showing in the second half only scoring 21 points. Clemson had no answer for the West Virginia offense. I didn't like the game as a side play, but loved the over. Not only did I get the over, but West Virginia went over the total by themselves. Wow!!!

FAO Sports had a split out Saturday going 1-1 in our 2 plays in the NFL. In reality, we should have gone 4-1 if we pulled the trigger on our other plays. This is one of the things that handicappers go through every so often. The lesson to be learned here is to believe in yourself. Sometimes as a handicapper, you out think yourself. I had a stat in the K.C. Oakland game that I gave as a comp play, and should have put it in our rated plays. The other 3 plays were winners also but I talked myself out of them. As a handicapper, and a gambler, you must trust in yourself, or your game is a bust.

Their are 2 teams, better said their are 2 QB's who just seem to win no matter what is going on around them. The first amazing story is that man Tebow. He doesn't lose, and does just enough to beat the other team.. Chicago had the game won with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter, then the Bear's RB Barbar drops the ball. It is amazing that what ever needs to be done to have denver win, it happens. Tebow looks bad for most of the game, then he starts playing and wins the game. I'm a believer in Tebow. On the other side, Eli Manning again takes the Giants on a last minute drive and gets the go ahead TD, and gets that 2 point conversion. Of course it took a blocked field goal atempt to win the game, but Manning does this time after time. He truly is a very good to great QB.

Okay, I must vent, and this is the best place to do that. First of all let me tell you that I'm a Giant fan. I don't let that get in the way of my handicapping, but if I don't play them, I'm still a fan. I must say that I haven't seen a less motivated team this late in the season then the giants were on Sunday night. > It truly looked like they were playing a preseason game, and the results didn't matter. They dropped passes, and couldn't move the defense out. They were not inspired to play against a division foe. The Giants were once 6-2, and now are 6-4 with the next 3 games against New Orleans, Green Bay and Dallas. I can see them being 6-7 after the dallas game. I know athey were missing Bradshaw and Boli, but Philadelphia was missing dog killer Vick. If this is the effort that the Giants and coach Coughlin are putting out, they might as well start empyying out their lockers and go on home. They truly stink and should be ashamed of the effort that they put their fans through.

As a professional handicapper, I have to look at many different angles, trends and situations may may or may not affect a game. As I was going down the list of games, I came upon the game between Seattle and St. Louis. On the face of it, the game is between 2 teams that are a combined 5-18. I usually don't like to put my money on either of these teams because bad teams usually have bad things happen to them. But, although I am not putting any moneyon this game, a few situations came up that may have someone saying this is a good game to bet. Oh, by the way, I'm looking to possibly play the game between Jacksonville and cleveland, which is another game between 2 poor teams. But, something looks good in that game. Anyway, getting back to this game. St. Louis is coming off a win over a poor Cleveland team, a loss to Arizona and a win over New Orleans. Not good except for the Saints win. On the other side, Seattle is coming off a big win over Baltimore, a loss to Dallas and a loss to cincinnati. This looks pretty good for a team that is 3-6. Now, is the Seahawks getting better or not. Then you must look at the hang over affect of the win over baltimore. Looking at the trends, Seattle is 4-1-1 over St. Louis in the last 3 years. That is why gamblers rely on handicappers like FAO Sports to do all the leg work and make a inteligent decision on games.
